The two forms most often chosen are:
- Société Anonyme (PLC) – Public Limited Company
- Société à Responsabilité Limitée (LTD) – Private Limited Company
Once the form is chosen, the investor needs to choose the type of activity and also the relevant tax regime:

- Risk Capital Investment Company (SICAR)

- Cooperative Company (COOPSA)
